Please come early for a special meeting of the Brotherhood board on December 5.
At 5:45 p.m. we will be lighting the outdoor hannukiah in the Pollack Courtyard just outside Linz Hall. This is an annual tradition of the Weiner-Sandfield family honoring Max Sandfield, an original architect of Temple. Brotherhood’s own Byron Sandfield is among those carrying on the tradition. Cantor Vicky Glikin will lead the holiday blessings.
After the brief service, we’ll duck back into Linz Hall for our usual 6:15 dinner and start our business meeting a little early.
Our goal is to get everyone out by 7:30 so that those who want can attend the Book Talk in Stern Chapel featuring a conversation between Rabbi David Stern and Dr. Bob Fine on the Atul Gawande best seller “Being Mortal.”
A buffet dinner is available, prior to the presentation, for $10.00 per person; and must be reserved 24 hours in advance.
