The nominating committee has meet (several times) and done it's work. They have now submitted the names of the people being nominated for officer and board member positions for the coming year. The election will be held during the April meeting on Wednesday, April 2nd.
Brotherhood conducted Party Expo on Sunday, February 10, 2008. About 45 vendors exhibited their wares to over 400 attendees. There were caterers, photographers, DJs, bakeries, hotels, event planners, and much, much more available to help the attendees determine how to best celebrate their simcha. All of the attendees, from seniors to 11 year olds considering their B'nai Mitzvahs had a great time attending.
During the weekend of January 25-27, 2008, Temple Emanu-El hosted NFTY teenagers from around Texas and Oklahoma. On Sunday morning Brotherhood members gathered to sliced tomatoes and bagels, separate portions of lox, set out yogurt and cream cheese, and ladle out fruit cocktail. They then served breakfast to the NFTY Winter Conclave attendees and advisers. Watch the 
On Saturday, January 12, 2008, Brotherhood hosted about 60 people at a Texas Hold'em Tournament.
