<title>AJ Beck, former Board Member, Remembered</title>
<link>http://www.tebrotherhood.org/Article32.html</link>
<description>from Ron Cohen:

An old friend and former super-active Brotherhood Board member passed away round July 2 and was buried with full military honors at Sparkman Hillcrest appropriately on July 4th. (see obituary)

AJ and I started on the board about the same time, somewhere around 1975. AJ was 27 years older than I and had pretty much retired by 1980. He was a continual VP on the board working extensively on membership, and obtaining speakers for our monthly Brotherhood breakfasts. His stamp was all over Brotherhood decisions of the day.

Although eminently qualified, AJ never aspired to being the President. He said it was a young persons job. His brother Maurice had been President almost 50 years prior to AJ's appearance on the board, and he remained active through the 1980's. Deteriorating health and other reasons eventually caused AJ to retire from the board in the early 1990's. His commitment and support will be greatly missed.</description>

Their website, JewsforJesus.org, states the following: &quot;Dallas Texas is home to roughly 50,000 Jewish People. . . . We are currently busily involved in the process of planning, strategizing, and recruiting for this upcoming effort to make the Messiah Jesus known to our Jewish People in the Dallas Ft.
